| The M3 Semiconductor Analyzer Kit is as easy to build as it is to operate. The kit consists of a high quality double-sided, through plated printed circuit board with silk screening to aid in component placement, and components selected to give you years of faithful service. Components have been packaged to allow you to easily identify and organize the parts for assembly. Each kit is checked twice before packing to insure completeness. A printed step-by-step assembly manual, as well as a comprehesive User's Manual, is included with each kit. Average construction time is 1 1/2 hours. |  |
The analyzer kit comes with a backlit LCD. As a battery saving feature, the backlight is programmed to light when a device is detected by the analyzer and remain lit for 30 seconds or when the device under test is removed. |  |
While all components are included to build your Semiconductor Analyzer except a 9 volt battery, an enclosure is NOT included as part of the kit. The choice of an enclosure is left to you. Several suitable cases are available from retailers such as Digi-Key, Radio Shack, or Mouser in various price ranges. We do offer a black ABS plastic project box, 5" X 2.5" X 2", as a separate item. The enclosure comes with the LCD window punched and all mounting holes drilled. The heart of the Semiconductor Analyzer is a PIC microprocessor. Each microprocessor has been tested and serial numbered before packaging. Additional features are always in development and original purchasers of the M3 Semiconductor Analyzer Kit will be offered upgrades as they become available. |  Click for larger image |
| Warranty: M Cubed Electronix warranty all kits to be free from defects or missing parts for a period of ninety (90) days from date of purchase. This warranty is provided to original purchasers only. Missing parts will be replaced promptly at our expense. In the case of suspected defective parts, the part must be returned to M Cubed Electronix in suitable condition for testing and determination as to cause of failure. Contact M Cubed Electronix via email or letter for instructions on returning defective parts or to report missing parts. Parts damaged during construction of the kit can be replaced by M Cubed Electronix at a reasonable price. Use of acid core, water soluable flux solder, or any corrosive or conductive flux will void this warranty in its entirety. All warranty claims must be accompanied by the serial number of the microprocessor. This number is clearly shown on the box label that the kit came in and on the microprocessor itself. Repair Service: Obviously all of us have different skill levels, and while the M3 Semiconductor Analyzer kit is extremely easy to build, even the most experienced technician will occasionally make a mistake. In the event that your kit fails to work properly, and you have checked all of your work and are still unable to resolve the problem, contact M Cubed Electronix for technical assistance. M Cubed Electronix offers a unique repair service to the original purchaser where, for a flat rate of $15.00 which includes return shipping, we will repair and return your Semiconductor Analyzer to you in operating condition. To take advantage of this service, first contact M Cubed Electronix for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and shipping instructions. Include this RMA number, along with your COMPLETE kit and a brief description of the problem when returning your kit for repair. |
